    Brought back from Indochina in 1828, the mandarin-tree has since prospered on the occidental banks of the Mediterranean Sea. Facing the Messina Strait, it sculpts the Calabrian landscape without a touch of bitterness. The mandarin’s softness harkens back to ancient times when its essential oils composed an elegant, odorant grammar. The candle has a total burn time of 300 hours.

    Trudon is the oldest candle manufacturer in the world. In 1643, Claude Trudon became the owner of a store on Rue Saint-Honoré where he developed his business as a candle manufacturer. His candles was bought by both parishes as well as private households. Hence, in the beginning of Louis XIV's reign, Claude Trudon created a company that would lay the base for his family's fortune.
