    General

    Newport reserves the right to refuse sale in the event of printing errors, items going out of stock and in the case of any errors that may appear on our site or in our advertisements. If you are under 18, you must have your guardian’s permission to place an order with us. Any attempts to defraud Newport, or any affiliates, will be reported to police. Newport reserves the right to cancel any and all orders if fraud is suspected..

    Prices

    All items listed in the Newport range include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time and to cancel orders in the case of any misprints or out of stock items. A shipping fee is added for selected articles. Sale prices are valid while supplies last or until the end date of the sale. Newport is entitled to change the prices on its website without prior notice.

    Upon completion of an order, we will send an email confirmation to the client’s email address. In the event of any errors such as, but not limited to, mistakes concerning the price or the misidentification of the product on the order confirmation or invoice, Newport reserves the right to correct such information, and will send out a new order confirmation. The customer is entitled to cancel their order free of charge if the corrections are not accepted.

    Discount codes

    Discount codes apply to regular prices and cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, or offers unless specified in the terms. Please note that discount codes do not apply to the purchase of gift cards and cannot be used on Slim Aarons products or selected coffee table books.
    Personal discount codes, such as birthday codes, are valid for two weeks from receipt and can be used online or in-store. Valid only on regular prices.

    Personal Data

    When you shop at newportcollection.com or when you become a member of our customer club, you provide information such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. In connection with your order of purchase or with your entrance to the customer club, you agree that we may store and use your information as part of our activities to fulfill our commitments to you. The information is used for identification, administration and communication with you as a member or user of newporthome.eu, and includes such things as customized offers. The data may also be used for customer analyses and statistics. Personal data can be registered by your customer number of Newport. We treat your personal information with the utmost care and, in accordance with the Personal Data Act (Personuppgiftslagen; PUL 1998: 204), take care to ensure that your customer information is only used by Newport. The exception is that your social security number is used by third parties (such as Adyen) to make credit checks on invoice or on partial payment plans, if you select one of those options. According to the Personal Data Act, you are entitled to access the information about you that we have stored. If it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant you can request that information be corrected or deleted. Please contact our customer service at [email protected].     Right to withdrawal

    The ‘Distance Contract Law’ gives you the full right to return your order completely or partially within 14 days of receiving your goods; if this is the case, please notify us at [email protected]. An exception to this clause is in the case an item is customized or ordered specifically for the order. You can see whether the item is included in this exception as part of the product information. Newport will issue a refund within 30 days of receiving the returned items if the purchase is returned on proper bases. These rights only apply if the following requirements are met: .

    • The item is unused and undamaged.
    • The invoice/receipt is available and can be presented. 
    • The packaging is undamaged.

    If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you will be refunded the cost of the item, but you are responsible for all shipping costs for the items' return. The returned item must be in the same condition as when you received it and in its original packaging.     Product Warranty/Complaints

    Newport adheres to consumer rules and regulations concerning guarantees and complaints. For all matters concerning warranties/complaints, please contact us here

    • Invoices/receipts must always be presented in warranty cases.
    • Submit clear images of whatever is wrong with the product.


    Return of goods

    For all matters concerning returns, please contact us here to receive instructions on the return process.

    When returning items, the customer pays the whatever shipping costs are needed to return the package to our warehouse in Sweden. You must contact us before submitting a return or it will not be accepted.

    Disputes

    In the event of a dispute, Newport follows the decisions of the General Complaints Board.

    Shipping fee

    The standard shipping fee is $12 for normal-sized parcels. For orders with a total value exceeding $99, the shipping fee will be waived.*

    * A shipping fee of $100 will be added if your order contains furniture or bulky goods.

    Delivery Time

    Normal delivery time is approximately 5–15 working days if the item purchased is in stock. We reserve the right to cancel a sale if an item is unavailable for any reason. If you order an item that is not in stock, we will notify you with a new delivery time by e-mail or phone.

    If there is a delay lengthening the delivery time to longer than the estimate specified in your order confirmation, we will notify you as soon as possible after the delay has come to our attention. We reserve the right to waive all remuneration claims to customers regarding delivery delays.

    Instructions for receiving goods

    When you receive your delivery, it is important to immediately check the products and packaging for any defects or issues. If the packaging appears damaged, please check with the postal/delivery agent and notify the appropriate representatives immediately.

    If the product was damaged in transit, it is much easier to make a claim against the shipping company if there is a notice of packaging damage with the delivery service. We must be notified of any shipping damages within a reasonable time. If you have ordered home delivery, it is important that you are at home upon receipt of the goods to inspect the products as described above.

    Outside agreements are made at your own risk; these include, but are not limited to agreements with the delivery representative to leave the package at your residence even if you are not available to receive it.

    How our items are delivered

    Postage service: Used on larger and heavier items. If you live in an apartment, delivery is to your doorway. If you live in a house, delivery is to the property limit (given normal accessibility). Deliveries ordinarily occur on working days between 8am and 5pm; delivery does not include set up or bringing the item inside your residence. The postal service may contact you to book a delivery time. Note that as a recipient you may not be able to fully schedule the delivery interval, as this is controlled by the postal services fixed routes in your area.

    Postal Office: Packages weighing less than 20 kg will be delivered to the nearest delivery point if standard shipping is selected. Home delivery may also be possible. Please enter your phone number for SMS notifications, which will typically enable faster processing of your shipment; otherwise, you will receive a notice by mail. Please note that you must pick up your package within 14 days, otherwise the shipment will be returned to us.

    Track and trace: For all shipments (except letters), you will receive information via e-mail that includes any tracking details for your shipment. If you have not received a notification within one week of your delivery confirmation, please contact us to avoid the shipment being automatically returned.

    Deliveries returned to sender

    Newport will charge a customer fee for cases where letters, mail packages (MyPack) or pallets/ larger packages are returned to Newport by the shipping company due to any of the following: 1) 1) the buyer/recipient did not collect the shipment from the delivery point; 2) 2) the buyer/recipient was not able to be reached by the supplied phone number for delivery notifications; 3) the buyer/recipient refused to accept the delivery; or 4) the buyer/recipient entered an incorrect name, address, or other contact information.

    For letters and parcels, the fee is €50 incl. VAT. For pallet/larger packages, the fee is €75 incl. VAT. The fee is charged to cover the costs of return shipping charged to Newport by the shipping company. These fees may be charged by invoice or may be deducted from the amount to be refunded after the item has arrived back at Newport.
