Leisurely skiing
The Lech ski area has 97 lifts divided into four systems. Among other things, you can take the gondola up to Rutikopf, a mountain that soars 2,362 metres above sea level. In general, the slopes in Lech are wide, pleasant and ideal for leisurely skiing. If you’re looking for more challenging slopes with narrower and steeper terrain, the neighbouring village of Zürs is your go-to destination. But stay in Lech if you want to try some exhilarating off-piste options.

A ski resort with personality
The outdoor cafes in Lech are required to close at just 7 pm; after that hour music may only be played indoors. Lech definitely isn’t the place for people looking for a party. To prevent the slopes from becoming overcrowded, the number of day passes for the ski lift systems is limited. There are also rules about how tall the buildings can be and how they can be designed, all to maintain the personality of the place.
